Where    Are    They    Now?

One of the most frequently asked questions I get at YSS is about where certain stars are now. We all know where teen celebrities like Brad Renfro, Christian Slater and Leonardo DiCaprio are, but what about some of the lesser know stars featured on YSS (or stars to be featured in the future).

Well, with the development of this page I hope to be able to answer some of your questions, and solve the mystery of the disappearing stars.

Vanishing Star #1 - Ben Jorgensen

Ben became semi-famous for his roles in 'All My Children' (as Kevin Sheffield), 'The Break' (as Joel Robbins) and 'The Basketball Diaries' (as Tommy). However, after 'The Basketball Diaries' was released in 1995 he seemed to pretty much disappear of our screens.

So, where is he now? Now in his thirties (30th July) he is currently appearing as 'Christopher Hughes' in 'As The World Turns' - not a total vanishing act after all!

Vanishing Star #2 - Macaulay Culkin

After shooting to fame in the original 'Home Alone' Macaulay Culkin seemed to pick up a string of dud films. His last, 'The Pagemaster' was perhaps the best of a bad bunch. That was in 1994, and since then little has been heard of the teen star.

Well, to be honest there are only a few things I can tell you. He seemed to disappear off the earth between 1994 and 1997, but in 1997 he was made Godfather to Michael Jacksons first child, faced bankruptcy, and in 1998 married actress Rachel Miner. There are rumours that Culkin will return to acting in the not too distant future.

Vanishing Star #3 - Jason & Jeremy London

To be honest it seems rather a cheek to suggest either of these two bright stars have disappeared, but I just had to find out what they had been up to in recent years.

Jason recently finished filming on Carrie II, and will shortly begin filming on 'Golden Sunrise' due for release sometime in the new Millennium. Jeremy has recently finished filming on the TV movie 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'. He has made no announcements as to future film projects, but was recently rumoured to be working on a screenplay of his own, so keep your eyes open for it.
